How it works
Phaser stands for: Permanent Hair & Skin Epilation & Rejuvenation
Phaser works by selective photothermolysis principle, delivering heat energy down the hair follicle to destroy the follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue.
The laser operates at either 808nm or 755nm which is selectively absorbed by the chromophore melanin, heating up the follicle causing its destruction. The hair will move to the surface of the skin over the next 7 days and fall out leaving the treated area hair free until the next phase of hair growth appears, approximately 6 weeks later.
Multiple treatments are required for complete long term hair removal but the skin will be hair free between treatments and at the end of the course the hair will be removed in many cases permanently.
With 2000 Watts of energy, the Phaser ensures complete destruction of the follicle for permanent hair reduction and excellent consistent results. In addition the Phaser unlike other systems on the market uses a square pulse which makes the energy uniform with every pulse for better results.
The Phaser can operate at up to 15Hz or 15 pulses per second for fast treatment. With a patented cooling system the skin surface is maintained at 6 degrees celcius to protect the skin and ensure a more comfortable treatment.

755nm: effective on fair skins, allowing the finest hairs to be permanently removed with a lower level of pigment, including the residual hair of previous sessions. 810nm: indicated to work on all skin phototypes as well as all types of hair.
The conditioning factors for hair removal will depend on the characteristics of the skin and the hair, on the type of source used, the amount of energy emitted, and the way in which this energy is emitted.
The Phaser platform is designed to work on all skin phototypes and all kinds of hair, working equally well in the first session, with high densities of hair, and in the repeat sessions with residual hair.
Conditioning factors of the skin and hair: The skin phototype is one of the most important factors in achieving the best results, with the minimum number of sessions.
According to the Fitzpatrick scale, there are six different phototypes (I-VI), the fairest skins are those that accept a greater amount of energy, with the least risk of undesired effects. Darker skin phototypes are therefore the most highly limited for certain types of emission.
Laser hair removal works by means of selective photothermolysis, which is based on the selective destruction of the hair follicle, avoiding, as much as possible, damage to the surrounding structures: the epidermis and the dermis.
This is achieved by using high-energy light pulses at wavelengths which are selectively absorbed by the chromophore target “melanin” with emission times lower than the thermal relaxation time of the hair follicle.
