Astra RF handpieces are pressed against the skin, puncturing the skin with micro needles. The needles create controlled micro-injuries to the skin, which in turn triggers the body’s natural wound healing process. Inflammation or blood flow is increased in the targeted area, bringing growth factors and nutrients to the injury area.
